How To Make Tartar Remover

Raspberries are rich in a mild fruit acid which can help remove tartar - a crusty plague buildup, from the teeth. The vodka helps to eliminate the germs caused by tooth disease before they can do their dirty work. This pre-brushing rinse tastes almost good enough to drink. But you should not swallow it. Just swish a small amount in your mouth for about 20 seconds before brushing.

Ingredients :
1. 1 cup water
2. 1/4 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
3. 2 tablespoons vodka

Method :
1. Boil water in small saucepan
2. Add raspberries, reduce to low and allow to simmer for 10 minutes
3. Strain raspberry water through sieve into small mixing bowl
4. Allow to cool for about 5 minutes
5. Add vodka and stir well
6. Transfer liquid to clean glass bottle
7. Shake well before using

Tips :
For best results, keep in fridge when not in use. Will last for about 6 to 8 weeks

hi, i am really interested to try this....just that, i want to know, those raspberries fruit, does it need to be squashed or just put in the pan as it is, whole fruit?

Hi Harry, dont mesh the raspberries up. just cut them into half and boil them. otherwise you will have some murky liquid. it will be ideal if you use mineral water or distilled water instead of tap water.

Thanks so much. I will definitely give it a try, this weekend.
